Two of the most influential men of Thessaloniki’s modern image, Prodromos Nikiforidis and Bernard Cuomo, started their common course at
the architecture school in Toulouse in the early 80s and since then they have designed many important spaces, with their highlight the restoration
of the New Waterfront. The design of the far-reaching project, which was also selected for the exhibition “Architectures on the Waterfront” at the
Maritime Museum of Barcelona, aimed to form behaviours, improve the living and upgrade the aesthetic criterion of the visitors. Δύο από τους
πιο επιδραστικούς ανθρώπους της σύγχρονης εικόνας της Θεσσαλονίκης, οι Πρόδρομος Νικηφορίδης και Bernard Cuomo, ξεκίνησαν την
κοινή τους πορεία στην αρχιτεκτονική σχολή της Τουλούζης στις αρχές των 80s κι έκτοτε έχουν σχεδιάσει πολλούς σημαντικούς χώρους,
με αποκορύφωμα την ανάπλαση της Νέας Παραλίας. Το μεγαλόπνοο έργο, το οποίο μάλιστα επιλέχθηκε για την έκθεση “Architectures on
the Waterfront” στο Ναυτικό Μουσείο Βαρκελώνης, σχεδιάστηκε με στόχο να διαμορφώνει συμπεριφορές, να βελτιώνει τη διαβίωση και να
