Founders of the brand
Everything started in 2015, in a small
workshop in Kalamaria. The intense
need of products with character led the
Artpeckers’ team -Kimon Gkologkinas,
Elli Gkologkina, Dimitris Sergentakis
& Iro Simaioforidou- to the creation
of modern handmade accessories from
natural materials that narrate exclusively
Greek stories through modern design.
Geometric motifs and ancient legends
take shape on their jewelry, while their
bag “Two in One Backpack” won in
2019 in Italy the IRON A’ Design Award
in the category Fashion and Travel
Accessories. Όλα ξεκίνησαν σε ένα
μικρό εργαστήριο στην Καλαμαριά το
2015. Η έντονη ανάγκη προϊόντων με
χαρακτήρα οδήγησε την ομάδα των
Artpeckers –Κίμων Γκολογκίνας, Έλλη
Γκολογκίνα, Δημήτρης Σεργεντάκης &
Ηρώ Σημαιοφορίδου– στη δημιουργία
Their main philosophy

Family photos, and a photo reportage
by Yannis Behrakis had been for Alkis
the inspiration in order to tell his own
stories. Covering the refugee crisis in
Greece and Mexico, and after two Pulitzer
Prizes, he considers the refugee a global
human being, whose desire to move
forward can’t be stopped by any wall, sea
or desert. Ασπρόμαυρες οικογενειακές

τη δική του ιστορία. Καλύπτοντας την
προσφυγική κρίση στην Έλλάδα και το
Μεξικό, μετά από δύο βραβεία Pulitzer,
θεωρεί τον πρόσφυγα έναν παγκόσμιο
άνθρωπο, του οποίου τη θέληση να
προχωρήσει δεν τη σταματάει κανένα
τείχος, καμία θάλασσα, καμία έρημος.
