Waiting for Godot
NATIONAL THEATRE
OF NORTHERN GREECE
For one more year, the National Theatre of
Northern Greece presents a varied programme that
combines, as every year, new productions, repeats
of successful performances, special features, guest
lectures and educational programmes. During the
winter season you will have the opportunity to
enjoy a wide-ranging repertoire of performances
that appeal to all tastes and ages. Starting with
internationally established plays, such as “The
Winter’s Tale” by William Shakespeare translated
by Nikos Hatzopoulos and directed by Silviu
Purcarete, and Patrick Marber’s “Closer” translated
by Thomas Moschopoulos and directed by Petros
Zivanos, presented for the first time at the
National Theatre of Northern Greece. Continuing
for the second consecutive year we have Samuel
Beckett’s “Waiting for Godot” translated by Minoas
Volanakis and directed by Giannis Anastasakis, and
Hugh Leonard’s “Da” in a wonderful translation and
creative adaptation by Dimosthenis Papadopoulos,
who is also directing the performance. In addition,
the National Theatre of Northern Greece is staging
two Greek plays for the first time, at the Lazarites
Monastery in particular; “Goodnight Margarita” by
Gerasimos Stavrou and directed by Fotis Makris,
and “For Greece” (featuring The Polk Case at
the forefront) by Sofia Nikolaidou, directed and
creatively adapted by Pigi Dimitrakopoulou.
Για ακόμα μια χρονιά, το ΚΘΒΕ παρουσιάζει ένα
ευρύ πρόγραμμα, με νέες παραγωγές, επαναλήψεις
επιτυχημένων παραστάσεων, αφιερώματα,
μετακλήσεις και εκπαιδευτικά προγράμματα.
Τη χειμερινή περίοδο έχετε την ευκαιρία να
παρακολουθήσετε ένα ρεπερτόριο παραστάσεων,
που ανταποκρίνονται σε όλα τα γούστα και τις Goodnight Margarita Da
ηλικίες. Ξεκινώντας από διεθνή και καταξιωμένα
έργα, το «Χειμωνιάτικο Παραμύθι» του Ουίλλιαμ
Σαίξπηρ, σε μετάφραση Νίκου Χατζόπουλου και
σκηνοθεσία Σίλβιου Πουρκαρέτε, και το «Τόσο
Κοντά» του Πάτρικ Μάρμπερ, σε μετάφραση Θωμά
Μοσχόπουλου και σκηνοθεσία Πέτρου Ζηβανού,
παρουσιάζονται για πρώτη φορά στο ΚΘΒΕ, ενώ
στη δεύτερη χρονιά του συνεχίζει το «Περιμένοντας
τον Γκοντό» του Σάμουελ Μπέκετ, σε μετάφραση
Μίνωα Βολανάκη και σκηνοθεσία Γιάννη
Αναστασάκη και το «Ντα» του Χιου Λέοναρντ
σε μετάφραση-δραματουργική επεξεργασία-
σκηνοθεσία Δημοσθένη Παπαδόπουλου. Winter's Tale Pro Patria
Συνεχίζοντας, δύο ελληνικά έργα ανεβαίνουν
για πρώτη φορά στο ΚΘΒΕ και συγκεκριμένα στη
Μονή Λαζαριστών, το «Καληνύχτα Μαργαρίτα»
του Γεράσιμου Σταύρου σε σκηνοθεσία Φώτη
Μακρή και το «Υπέρ Ελλάδος» (η υπόθεση
Πολκ στο προσκήνιο) της Σοφίας Νικολαΐδου σε
σκηνοθεσία-δραματουργική επεξεργασία Πηγής
Δημητρακοπούλου. ntng.gr
