Architecture Editor at Wallpaper* magazine
Although architectural journalism has never been
in her professional aspirations, today, after working
for 13 years as head of the architecture department
of the international magazine Wallpaper*, a
publication considered to be the design Bible,
she feels -in some ways- that she still is practicing
architecture. As she says to Grec14n, she studied the
concept of architecture during her student years in
Thessaloniki, a city that holds a special place in her
heart. She has always been fond of the area around
the harbor, while the Archaeological Museum was
one of her first encounters with modernism. Αν και
η αρχιτεκτονική δημοσιογραφία δεν ήταν μες στις
επαγγελματικές της βλέψεις, μετά από 13 χρόνια
στο διεθνές περιοδικό Wallpaper*, ως επικεφαλής
του τμήματος αρχιτεκτονικής ενός εντύπου που
θεωρείται η βίβλος του design, νιώθει ότι κατά
κάποιον τρόπο ακόμη κάνει αρχιτεκτονική. Έννοια
την οποία έμαθε κατά τη διάρκεια των σπουδών
της στη Θεσσαλονίκη, όπως λέει στο Grec14n, μια
πόλη η οποία κατέχει ιδιαίτερη θέση στην καρδιά
της. Πάντα της άρεσε η περιοχή του λιμανιού,
ενώ το Αρχαιολογικό Μουσείο αποτέλεσε από τις
πρώτες της επαφές με το μοντερνισμό.
