As of 1 April 2024, the management of the parking facilities at Thessaloniki International Airport "Makedonia" has been entrusted to the Joint Venture INTRAPOWER–TSOUFLIDOU (CITYPARK PARK & GO), with the goal of enhancing the overall parking experience for passengers and visitors. By combining INTRAPOWER's expertise in infrastructure with CITYPARK's extensive experience in parking management, the airport delivers high-quality, reliable, and customer-focused parking services.

To redefine the parking experience, advanced technologies and intelligent systems have been implemented throughout the parking facilities. These include IoT (Internet of Things) sensors, RFID (Radio Frequency Identification), and computer vision technologies, all integrated at the entry and exit points to monitor parking occupancy in real time, automate access control, and streamline payment and transaction processes.

These technologies are interconnected through smart communication protocols and supported by artificial intelligence (AI), enabling intelligent decision-making that enhances operational efficiency, optimizes parking availability, and improves user convenience. This technological transformation reflects the airport's commitment to innovation, service excellence, and a seamless travel experience.

Parking Facilities

Thessaloniki International Airport "Makedonia" offers six dedicated parking areas, designed to accommodate the different needs of travelers and visitors:

• P3 – Long-Term Parking
• P4 – Short-Term Parking
• P5 – Coaches & Pre-booked Taxis
• P6 – Long-Term Parking
• P7 – Long-Term Parking
• P8- Long Term Value

Conveniently located opposite the terminal building, parking areas P3, P4, P5, P6, P7 and P8,  provide a secure, accessible, and cost-effective parking solution for airport users.

Operating Hours

All parking facilities operate 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year. Advance reservations are not required, allowing visitors to park at their convenience.

Αll parking areas are protected by 24-hour CCTV surveillance.

Parking is strictly prohibited in the arrivals and departures zones. Drivers are kindly requested to use the designated parking areas P3, P4, P6, P7 and P8.
